Strategy:
A series of games are to be developed to create awareness for PlayUK Internet’s new website, and to encourage registrations for ongoing marketing activity. The target market for Play UK Internet is predominantly male, and gamblers need to be over 18. Two games have been built with this audience in mind – ‘Naughty vs Nice’ and ‘Monster Trucks.’ This entry pertains to the latter, an interactive game that tests your driving prowess.
Creative:
The site engages the user with an arcade like experience right from the intro sequence. The ‘red neck’ character, Mechaniac, of the website is carefully considered and deployed across the many opportunities within the game, website and viral marketing collateral. The game sees beautifully crafted monster trucks let loose on dirt race tracks that deliver a truly enjoyable user experience. Once users have experienced the game they are prompted to sign up and unlock more race stages and truck upgrades . For every stage completed the user is issued with a free Lottery voucher to redeem on the Play UK Internet website. Additional site content in the form of origami monster trucks is also made available.
