About you:
The Front-End Developers at Hellocomputer transform the beautiful designs crafted here, into functional online experiences. They strive for standards-compliant HTML in the midst of browser inconsistencies, and use CSS and JavaScript to bring the markup to life. Performance is key to any website, so they’re constantly optimizing code and file sizes to ensure that users have the best experience possible.
Requirements:
• Competency in cross-browser HTML and CSS
• Ability to write clean and maintainable code from designs
• Good knowledge and understanding of JavaScript & JQuery
• Need to work closely with other developers and designers, and incorporate feedback from them
• Up-to-date with evolving web standards (HTML5, CSS3) and best practicesPluses:
• Experience in server-side programming (we primarily use ASP.NET around here)
• Interest in mobile web development
• Examples of websites you’ve built or worked on
• Comfortable in Photoshop, Fireworks or other related toolsInterested in joining us?
